3. How we use your information
- To provide the content, resources and services you request, including access to whitepapers, reports, webinars and other gated assets.
- To share your information with the sponsor(s) of content you request, as described in section 4.
- To send newsletters, content recommendations and other communications about topics relevant to your profession, where permitted by law.

4. Sponsored content and sharing with sponsors
Many of the resources on the Website are produced or sponsored by third-party technology vendors and solution providers (“Sponsors”). When you request or download a sponsored resource, the information you submit in the request form will be shared with the Sponsor(s) of that resource, who may contact you about their products, services and related content. Each content request form identifies that the content is sponsored, and where required by law we will ask for your consent before sharing.
Once your information is shared with a Sponsor, the Sponsor’s use of it is governed by the Sponsor’s own privacy policy. We encourage you to review it, and you may opt out of a Sponsor’s communications directly with that Sponsor.
5. Other ways we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We may also share information with:
- Service providers who host the Website, deliver email, provide analytics, verify data or support our operations, under contracts that limit their use of the information.
- Professional advisers such as lawyers, accountants and auditors.
- Authorities when required by law, court order or to protect rights, property or safety.
- A successor in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of our business.
6. Legal bases for processing (EEA, UK and similar laws)
Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we rely on: consent (for example, where you agree to receive marketing or to have your data shared with a Sponsor); performance of a contract or steps at your request (providing content you ask for); legitimate interests (operating a B2B publication, sending relevant business communications where permitted, securing the Website and preventing fraud), balanced against your rights; and legal obligation. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier processing.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- delete your information;
- restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing;
- data portability;
- withdraw consent at any time;
- nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity (India);
- lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority or the Data Protection Board of India.
Unsubscribe: every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, or you can email us at info@ddmmedsol.com with the subject “Unsubscribe”.
To exercise any right, email info@ddmmedsol.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
8. Region-specific information
India (Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023)
We process digital personal data for the lawful purposes described in this policy, on the basis of your consent or for legitimate uses permitted by the Act. You may contact us at info@ddmmedsol.com to access, correct, update or erase your data, withdraw consent or raise a grievance. We will respond to grievances within the period prescribed under applicable rules.
California (CCPA / CPRA)
In the preceding 12 months we have collected the categories of personal information described in section 2 (identifiers, professional or employment-related information, internet or network activity and approximate geolocation) for the purposes in section 3. We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. Sharing your information with a Sponsor when you request sponsored content, and certain advertising cookies, may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under California law. You may opt out at any time by emailing info@ddmmedsol.com with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information”. California residents also have the right to know, delete and correct their information and to limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information). You may use an authorised agent to submit a request.
Canada (CASL and PIPEDA)
We send commercial electronic messages to Canadian recipients only with express or implied consent as permitted by Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation. Each message identifies us and includes a working unsubscribe mechanism, and unsubscribe requests are processed within 10 business days.
9. International transfers
We and our service providers and Sponsors may process information in countries other than the one where you live, including India, the United States and countries in Europe. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers, such as standard contractual clauses approved by the relevant authorities.
10. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy — generally for as long as you remain engaged with our content or communications, and for a reasonable period afterwards — unless a longer period is required by law. We keep a minimal record of unsubscribe and opt-out requests so that we can honour them.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify affected individuals and authorities where required by law.
12. Links to other websites
The Website contains links to third-party websites, including Sponsor websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
13. Changes to this privacy policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Where changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
